Samvedan Trust

Samvedan Trust is an NGO working for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care. The trust was founded by Dr. Geeta Bhave in 2001.

Samvedan follows an Integrated Therapy Approach for management of HIV/AIDS cases, which includes counselling, motivation, nutrition, yoga, alternative therapies and allopathy. Across the 7 centres, around 2000 patients are being currently treated using this approach.

Dr. Bhave retired as head of department of microbiology at Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.

Prayaas involvement

Prayaas has funded around INR1,14,000 for procurement of therapy kits for patients.
